Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of clinical experience. She received her Masters of Counseling from Oakland University in 2010. Her undergraduate degree is in secondary education from the University of Michigan.
Rebecca started her career as a high school teacher, an experience which made her aware of the great need for counseling services for adolescents, children, and families. This is what led her to continue her education and work to obtain her Masters of Counseling.
She has been employed for the last 7 years as a mental health therapist in the Flint community. Rebecca’s clientele has consisted of adults, adolescents, children, and families. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and relationships issues. The last five years of her career have been specialized in the treatment of children with ADHD, ODD, trauma, and relationship problems. Rebecca is confident in her ability to help adults, children and families learn appropriate coping mechanisms to assist in better managing their problems.
Rebecca’s approach is authentic and nurturing, utilizing different evidence-based therapies to help clients achieve their goals. She will help guide you through life’s challenges and difficult times.
